My Approach
Amy McGarry is a therapist specializing in individual, couples and family therapy, and maintains a private practice in South Jordan, UT. Amy McGarry was born and raised in California and has lived in Henderson, Nevada and Salt Lake City, Utah. After spending considerable time in several different career fields, Amy returned to get her Bachelor's degree in Psychology at the age of 38. Amy then went on to receive her Master's degree from the University of Nevada Las Vegas in 2013 at the young age of 45. Amy ran women's intimacy groups for 3 years before starting her route towards full licensure. Amy received her full licensure and has begun to create her dream of starting this practice. Amy is married with 2 adorable children and one very cute, squishy fur baby named Charlie. She loves helping people realize their full potential by creating a life that reflects their needs, feelings and wants. Her hobbies include going to see live music (shout out to Prince Duck), watching British mysteries, reading, writing, traveling and hanging out with her family.
